The Lithium battery stocks-ion battery is light years ahead of the earlier batteries and considerably better than the Nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) or the nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries which are still being used. Skip the cotton swabs (too flimsy and could be dangerous), make-up (due to lack of regulation), and make-up remover pads (can I just say UGH!?).
